Meg has been at NMH since 1983. She has coached girls' varsity tennis, girls' JV tennis, and boys' JV tennis at NMH. She was awarded the Housen Coaching Award in 1993 for coaching girls' varsity tennis and she was a Greenfield women's doubles champion in 1991. Meg taught private tennis lessons, ran tennis clinics, and was tournament director for USTA tournaments at Wintergreen resort in Virginia before coming to NMH. She had tennis summer jobs every year as a youth, and played singles and doubles at her high school in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Although she did not swing a racquet in college (she played field hockey and lacrosse), she played tennis during the summers and grew up playing tennis with her family after suppers. Her mother still played tennis every Wednesday morning until the age of 86. When not on the courts, Meg teaches English and humanities. She lives on campus with her family.
