Teaching at NMH: Like many of my colleagues, I love teaching at NMH because of the diversity within the classrooms and the conversations that this diversity allows us to have. Teaching US History and World History, I continually have opportunities to explore real issues facing the world and the United States with the students. Those moments when they see connections between the past and today are some of the most intellectually exciting and self-affirming moments for the students. This is the "real life" learning that happens so frequently at NMH.
Experience: At NMH since 1990; Jane Sibley '51 Fellowship; Housen Coaching Award; Parents Council Fellowship for Athletics; NMH Technology Award
Assistant CoachSarah has worked at NMH since 2000 as a college counselor. She played field hockey, volleyball, and softball in high school, and volleyball and softball at McDaniel College. She enjoys working with younger students, many of whom have never played the sport before. “It’s a great deal of fun to watch them progress.”
