    Experience: At NMH since 1988; Housen Coaching Award

    Foehl coached the Varsity Field for 25 years and had over 100 wins, including a New England Championship.
    She took on the Varsity Golf Team as Head coach in 1997 and has lead that team to several top 5 finishes in the New England Tournament. In addition, NMH and her team have had two individual champions win the stroke play New England Championship.

    Her golf team's most recent acclaim was third place in New Englands in 2010. Current member of her team, Annie Dai '24, won the Mass golf Junior Championship this past summer and Annie also won the New England Jr. Amateur.

    Foehl played at Williams College for Olympian Chris Mason before coming to NMH and taking over the Field Hockey program. Mace also played Varsity squash at Williams on the Division 1 team. She held the number 2 spot on the team her junior and senior years and competed regularly as an individual at the Howe Cup at Yale. In High school, she was undefeated at number 1 singles in Tennis and this lead her to move to squash so she could continue playing Field Hockey at Williams while keeping a racket in her hand in the winter months.

    There was no female avenue for Golf at the time but she enjoyed the sport with her deep and skilled family members who did much for the game.

    Mace holds a 6 handicap and competes regularly in the Summers in various golf tournaments. She won the Mass golf Mother-Daughter tournament with her daughter, Mackey Hemphill '11 and She also won the State Mother-Son tournament with her son Cooper Hemphill '14. She is a Rules official for Mass Golf and the USGA and is currently on the Mass Golf Championship committee. She has coached in Ireland twice at The Kerry Cup, a jr Tournament for young players from around the globe. Mace has also had 9 holes in one. Two at Northfield Golf Course, 5 at Crumpin' Fox and 2 at Taconic Golf course in Williamstown. Her players have witnessed 3 of these hole outs.
