  • Head Coach
    George joined NMH baseball in the 2017-2018 academic year. That year, he worked primarily with pitchers on mindset development, defensive systems, and improving strikeout-to-walk ratios. George pitched for Amherst College from 2013-2017, making 27 appearances over his final two seasons as both starter and closer. He also co-founded the Council of Amherst College Student Athletes of Color – a student-run collective aimed at fostering solidarity and bridging divides through mentorship and community initiatives – and served as an Athletic Team Engagement Leader to expand partnerships with local non-profit organizations. He attended George School (PA), where he was a two-sport captain recognized with All-League and Bucks County Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors. George graduated from Amherst College with a bachelor’s degree in Black Studies and expects to complete his M.S. in Education in May 2019.
  • Assistant Coach
    Jim is entering his 29th season as the assistant varsity baseball coach at NMH, where he has also coached varsity and JV basketball. He has served in this capacity for five different head coaches over the years. A graduate of Washington and Lee University in Virginia, Jim is also a history teacher (American Government and American Foreign Policy) and has led several term-abroad trips to Egypt and Turkey during his tenure at the school. He is also the co-founder of the NMH VOTES Project, a nationwide high school mock election project.
