"I’m a teacher and a dean."
As you look toward ways to improve our world, consider the impact of your contributions to NMH.
Each year, the school’s philanthropic priority is to create and maintain a strong NMH Fund. Thousands of alumni, parents, and friends of NMH come together for this crucial common goal: to affirm the value of an NMH education and to ensure that the NMH experience is available for generations to come. Large or small, annual gifts make NMH a strong, dynamic place where the next generation of leaders and changemakers will learn and grow. Make an NMH Fund gift today.
Right now, NMH is also focused on realizing our 2020 Strategic Plan. And we are in the quiet phase of what will be the largest capital campaign in the school’s history, with the goals of increasing endowment (for financial aid, faculty development, and campus stewardship), increasing the NMH Fund, and building new facilities that will support academics, family life, athletics, and health. We hope you will find a project that captures your attention and that you will help fund.
Gilder Center for Integrative Math and Science Education
NMH has unveiled the design for a $38 million science and math center that one day will serve as home to the school’s innovative new math, science, and engineering curriculum.
Sporting a sleek, modern look that blends gracefully into the school’s hillside campus, the Gilder Center for Integrative Math and Science Education will house traditional classrooms as well as a range of innovative teaching spaces, including a makerspace and five mastery suites specifically designed to support a mastery-based learning process. Northfield Mount Hermon is making plans for a new $7 million boathouse to serve its rapidly growing rowing program. The much-needed facility will replace a 50-year-old building that has long been too small for the program it serves. NMH offers competitive rowing in both the fall and spring seasons, and each year more than 100 students participate, making it one of the school’s most popular sports. Learn more.
In 2013, NMH built six new faculty homes in what has become known as "faculty village." The $2.4 million project was completed in 2015. Learn more.
Bolger Center for Early Childhood Education
Northfield Mount Hermon opened the Bolger Center for Early Childhood Education in 2017. The bright, spacious 5,630-square-foot facility serves families of NMH employees and community members with programs for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Learn more.
