Wyatt 2025

Wyatt came to NMH for academic and athletics opportunities and found a new passion: the campus radio station.

What brought me to NMH:

I am fourth-generation at NMH but I am the first boy to attend. I came for the better academic environment and a new serious concentration on my sport while also getting to meet new people and explore the U.S.

The most challenging part of my time at NMH:

Being away from home and accepting that you’re not going to be home as much as you want. But it's gotten me a lot more comfortable traveling on my own and being up for new experiences.

Something new I tried at NMH:

I took my first class on government and policy, which made me want to learn more about that side of the world.

My activities at NMH:

My main passion outside of academics and sports has been the WNMH radio station.

NMH has made me a better person and taught me lessons by the people it introduced me to and the challenges it’s thrown at me.”

My mum was on the radio in 1989, and I’ve had my show all four years and been the head of the board for the past three. The radio is a hidden gem at NMH and its alums hold a great connection.

My favorite class at NMH:

Government and Civil Liberties, because of the way that [teacher] Jim Shea taught me how to write.

Favorite food in Alumni Hall:

Bibimbap is well worth the wait, and all of the little special food stalls that NMH Dining does are amazing.

Favorite spot on campus:

Walking the faculty loop is one of the best things and a great way to spend time outside.

My favorite activity at NMH:

The swim team and the radio have been my favorite groups, because they’re been like a family.

Advice I would give myself if I could go back to my first day at NMH:

Join in on everything. Don’t be worried about embarrassing yourself, because these people will get to be as close as family.

What’s special to me about NMH:

The values that it roots in everyone by just being a part of the community.

How NMH has changed me:

NMH has made me a better person and taught me lessons by the people it introduced me to and the challenges it’s thrown at me. I’ve gotten incredible opportunities and lifelong memories.

Plan for the fall:

I’m going to Babson College to swim.
