Sit back, relax, and listen to seniors  Unandi Lungu (tenor sax), Connor Marshall  (trumpet), Henry Castillo (conga ) and Nielsen Kasser (jazz drums) play some jazz classics. They’ll be joined by sophomore Alexander Wirth (jazz piano) and Music Director Ron “Smitty” Smith (jazz bass). Unandi, Connor, Nielsen, and Henry recently performed at the Western District Senior Music Festival, the Iron Horse Open House, and the Vermont Jazz Festival. The NMH jazz program has been recognized by the Massachusetts Association of Jazz Educators as an Outstanding High School Jazz Program among private and public schools in Massachusetts. Smitty continues to educate the head, heart, and hand of how jazz is really played. Are you ready to hear some swing? Make a gift and tune in.

Join boys' rowing coach David Reeder for an erg session with the varsity guys as they prepare for the spring season. We won our first medals in many decades at the NEIRA championships last May, and we hope to add some more hardware to our team collection in David's last season as head coach. You can erg with us remotely or just check in and catch up with the coach and captains. We would love to hear stories from your experiences on the team through nearly 60 years of NMH rowing on the Connecticut River.

Molly Goggins Talbot ’93, P'21, warmly invite all our fellow K-12 educators and those who are education-adjacent for a relaxed and collegial conversation about our teaching lives. What brought us to teaching, and what keeps us there? Where do we find joy and inspiration as teachers, and how do we find it as lifelong learners ourselves (and where do these intersect)? How do we navigate personal values, school mission, and the current climate? What are the many forms a career arc can take in education — and how can we support each other through changes? We think people are always curious to hear about others’ paths, too. We also would be delighted to talk to those who are thinking about career pivots into the wonderful world of teaching and learning. All are welcome.

Join co-hosts Izzy Lotocki de Veligost ’15 and Paul Hwang ’15, and other NMH alums in finance and legal roles across various industries. We’ll create new networks through our shared NMH experience and light discussion of the state of the economy as seen in our current roles.

Join coaches Steve Allison, Katie Simpson, and Michelle Hurley along with current student athletes to learn about outdoor programs at NMH. The mountain biking and outdoor teams continue our commitment of offering sports at the varsity level. We’d love to hear your stories from your time in the outdoor program. The offerings may have changed over the years, but we’re still focused on fostering a love and appreciation for all things outdoors. Please join us!

Please join NMH veterans Tom Baxter ’59, captain, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; and Tabatha Collins ’92, lieutenant, U.S. Navy, for the third annual gathering of NMH veterans. Reconnect with old friends and meet new ones who share your experience in serving our country after graduating from NMH. As the old saying goes, "We may be scattered far and wide, but when two or three shall meet, old tales be retold." So break out your old stories and share how your experience at NMH helped prepare you for military service. We also look forward to hearing your ideas on how NMH can better support and honor this group of alumni!

Reminisce about our excellent 50th reunion last year, find out what we've all been up to in the nine months since then, consider how to support the NMH Fund this year, and pat ourselves on the back for the record-setting support we gave the school last year. This event will be hosted by past reunion co-chairs John Burnham ’74, Claire Bamberg ’74, P'02, and Josie Hart ’74. Spend some time with Celia Popper Carboni ’72, Tom Sisson ’72, and other alums of that era and share your most memorable experiences from your time at NMH — maybe from your dummy or workjob, from the classroom, from extracurricular activities, other extracurricular activities, or sports, in the dorm, or even something salvaged from the dump at Mount Hermon!

The NMH alumni of color community is filled with accomplished individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and professions, and this event provides a unique opportunity to network and forge meaningful connections. Please note: This is an affinity space for alumni who identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and people of color). We recognize that there may be multiple affinity groups with which you identify; we welcome you to join for any amount of time as you connect across your identities.

Share what’s new with you! Join Joe McVeigh, Rebecca Verrill Smith, Tom Schiller, and other classmates for an evening of reconnection, memories, and laughs. You’ll also get an update on how things are going at NMH today as we think ahead to our 50th reunion, just over a year away!

Join boys’ varsity soccer coaches Dick Peller P’97, ’98; Jay Ward ’68, P’07, ’10; Jim Vollinger P’01, ’06, ’08; Charlie Malcolm P’17, ’22; and Jim Burstein ’87, P’19, ’23 to reminisce and reconnect with former teammates and other soccer alums. We’ll discuss the current state of the NMH boys’ soccer program, with friendly banter and challenges between all teams from the ’60s to the present day — including the seven NE Class A Championship teams in 1981, 1982, 1984, 1997, 2006, 2010, and 2021! The program’s future is bright — come be a part of it!

Join Rai Wilson ’13, Yann Kumin ’00, and fellow LGBTQ+ NMH alumni to share stories and reflect on our unique experiences at NMH. This is an opportunity to connect, engage, and uplift one another. The NMH LGBTQ+ alumni community is made up of accomplished individuals from many backgrounds and professions, and this event provides a chance to network and build meaningful connections.

Please note: This is an affinity space for alumni who identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community. We understand that many individuals identify with multiple affinity groups, and we welcome you to join for any amount of time as you connect across your identities.

Join NMH Archivist Peter Weis ’78, P’13, ’21 and former Junior Archivist Aubry Koehler '03 for a discussion about preservation and the digital world in the NMH archives. Peter will describe recent initiatives to preserve not only paper records but also digital copies. In addition, learn what digitization means and doesn't mean in terms of preservation and access. There'll be plenty of time for questions and conversation.

At the end of the day, you want to come home — and NMH will always be home. After NMH Gives wraps up, come hang out with us! This will be an informal visit where everyone is welcome, to discuss any topic. Maybe we’ll talk about the day’s events, maybe we’ll talk about the school, maybe we’ll talk about baking bread.
