Student Art Show Opens

March 24, 2016 — During March and April, artwork by NMH students gets the professional treatment in the campus gallery, which usually exhibits works by regionally and nationally known artists.

Drawings, paintings, photos, ceramics, sculptures, and other pieces created by about 40 visual arts students are now on display in The Gallery at Rhodes Arts Center.

“If I had to pick a favorite show that we do each year, it would be the student show,” says Visual Arts teacher Alex Braile, who coordinates RAC gallery exhibitions throughout the year. “It is so much fun seeing the students take ownership of the gallery space and seeing how excited they get about their work.” He encourages the entire NMH community to visit the gallery and “see the great work that our students do.”

The student art show continues through April 22.  The RAC gallery is open 10 am to 7 pm on weekdays and 1 to 5 pm on weekends.
