Athlete of the Week: Cate Eggers ’19

Girls' JV ice hockey: Cate Eggers ’19 (Tolland, CT)

Junior co-captain Cate Eggeres has been a standout for the NMH squad this season. Netting 10 of the team’s 12 goals scored this season, Eggers tallied her second hat trick of the season against Cushing this week, scoring all three NMH goals of the game.

More than for her ability to find the net, however, Eggers remains a leader on the team because of her communication on the ice, her dedication to putting her best effort forward continuously and her optimism. The energy of Eggers’ play is contagious.
