Fighting climate change one idea at a time
Food Systems Teach-In and Farmers' Market
On Friday, May 11, 2018, Northfield Mount Hermon will host local food and agriculture experts in a day of connecting, teaching, and selling their products.
The school’s classes focus on various aspects of the local food system to engage students in the effort of becoming responsible citizens through their food choices. In the afternoon, the local community is invited to campus to shop and learn at a farmers’ market and associated workshops. NMH’s goal: to build educational connections between youth and adults and between the food producers and consumers of the Pioneer Valley.
