Boys Baseball at NMH

A member of the highly competitive Central New England Prep School Baseball League, the Northfield Mount Hermon baseball team takes the “head, heart, hand” mission seriously. We value good sportsmanship, competition, and camaraderie. We emphasize character development, active citizenship, and intellectual development. We take pride in excellence on and off the field and are committed to teaching and developing individual skills so players can make real their potential as athletes.

Over the years, many Northfield Mount Hermon players have received recognition for their efforts and graduated with true understanding, love, and respect for the game. In concert with the Admission team, the coaching staff searches for and recruits high-achieving scholar-athletes who value holistic education, academic rigor, and outstanding instruction. The core tenants of our program mirror those of the school:

Northfield Mount Hermon baseball has a grand tradition which dates back to 1891, when the Gill residents hosted a team from Yale University.
