Medical Care
The Health and Wellness Center is staffed by nurses around the clock while school is in session, so someone is ready to help whenever you need it. Medical providers are available for urgent or routine appointments weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm, and are always on call.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have modified the health center to accommodate the evaluation, diagnosis and admission of a student with suspected or known COVID-19. Our facility is prepared to admit students for overnight admissions as well as for a short admission for rest during the day. Our team works together to ensure that your student receives the best care possible.

COVID-19 Vaccine questions and answers
We discourage students from bringing over-the-counter medications to school. However, if families choose to send students to school with medications, it is important to review with them how to take and store the medications safely. Please review our policy as listed in the NMH Rules and Policies Handbook for additional details.
The Health and Wellness Center is stocked with most over-the-counter medications that your student may need, and will dispense single doses as appropriate.
Nurses are readily available to answer any questions.
