Sustainability on Campus

Sustainability Office: Housed in the Center for Learning Through Action in Social Hall, the NMH sustainability office is the hub of our sustainability system and where Sustainability Director Becca Malloy coordinates student, faculty, and staff programs.

Electric vehicle charging station: NMH has installed an electric vehicle (EV) charging station for use by community members and campus visitors. This project was made possible by the generosity of a trustee and through incentive programs offered by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The charging station is located in the Alumni Hall parking lot and can charge two electric vehicles at the same time. Use of the EV charging station requires a ChargePoint credit card or a major credit card with a smart chip. Please contact Rick Couture, plant facilities director, with questions.

Gold LEED Certification: Both the Rhodes Arts Center (2009) and Bolger House (2011) have achieved the high sustainability standard of gold LEED certification.
