Girls Soccer at NMH

The Northfield Mount Hermon’s girls' soccer program competes in the Class A division of the New England Preparatory School Athletic Conference (NEPSAC) against some of the top academic and athletic high school teams in the country.

Our approach to developing well-rounded young adults is an extension of our school’s mission to educate the head, heart, and hands of our students. We aim not only to enhance our athletes’ soccer skills and promote a physically healthy lifestyle but to also impart valuable life lessons that they can carry with them beyond the field. Off the field, we participate in team-bonding activities, host guest speakers, and give back to local communities through service projects.

Like NMH as a whole, our girls’ soccer program is made up of players from around the world; in the fall of 2024, our players came from 11 countries. Their skill levels range from beginners to national team players (Haiti ’25, Spain ’20, and Senegal ’26). We welcome both players who are new to the sport and those who are experienced, offering multiple teams to suit athletes of all abilities.

The success of our program is reflected in our graduates who have gone on to play at the collegiate DI, DII, and DIII levels, as well as professionally in Spain and the U.S., along with those who chose not to compete in college and found a school that’s the best fit for them. Our graduates often come back to NMH to speak with current players, sharing their experiences at NMH and offering valuable advice.
