Northfield Mount Hermon Boys Lacrosse: Tradition, Excellence, and Growth

NMH Boys Lacrosse is a program on the rise, blending high-level competition, academic excellence, and a deep-rooted culture of commitment, hard work, and leadership. Coming off one of its winningest seasons in a decade, the team continues to establish itself as a force in NEPSAC Class A, competing against the top prep school programs in the country.

At its core, NMH Lacrosse is built on humility, relentlessness, joy, and responsibility. Our players embody these values in everything they do. Whether it's competing in the NEPSAC’s toughest matchups, grinding in the weight room, or leading in the classroom and the community. Our players don’t just pursue success in lacrosse; they are also scholars, multi-sport athletes, and campus leaders, balancing the rigors of elite academics while competing at the highest level.

Now entering his second year at the helm, Head Coach Trevar Haefele brings a wealth of experience and a championship mindset to the program. With a résumé that includes coaching over 30 NCAA All-Americans, six professional players, and three nominations for NCAA Assistant Coach of the Year, Coach Haefele is dedicated to developing high-character athletes who compete at the next level.

A Legacy of Success

Over the past decade, NMH has produced PLL and NLL professionals, All-Ivy, and All-Patriot League standouts, reflecting our commitment to preparing players for the highest levels of the game. Year after year, our graduates go on to play at some of the most respected college programs in the country, with commitments to many great D1, D2, D3 programs while regularly including commitments to the Ivy League, Patriot League, NESCAC, and Liberty League.

With momentum at an all-time high, NMH Lacrosse is poised to build on its success and continue shaping the next generation of scholar-athletes, leaders, and competitors. The future is bright, and the standard is set.
