Congratulations to our NMH Athletes of the Week for the week of 4/18-4/24!
From Boys Varsity Lacrosse:
Luke Dellicicchi '22
Every player on the NMH Lacrosse Team and Coaches have been excited to see #7 Luke Dellicicchi back in the rotation. Luke's presence on the field and leadership through action have helped our team win the last three games. This is the first time in 10 years that a successful 3-game has occurred for the boy's varsity lacrosse program.
Luke would tell you that he could not do it without the help of his teammates. He is an outstanding scholar-athlete and an even better young man with high character and a strong work ethic. He will play for Brown University Next Year. Brown Men's Lacrosse is currently ranked 5th in the nation.
Luke's Stat Line
Vs Cushing 6 Goals, 1 Assist
Vs Proctor 3 Goals, 5 Assists
Vs Worcester 4 Goals, 5 Assists
From Boys Varsity Tennis:
Charlie Bell '23
Charlie Bell ‘23 (captain) played smart tennis in the #2 singles spot. He was up against a solid opponent that possessed a big serve and powerful forehand drive. The first set was very competitive, but impressive shot making from Williston’s #2 took the first set 6 games to 3. Charlie fought back well in the second set by mixing spins, angles and depth of shots keeping his opponent on the move both laterally and up and back taking the set 6-4 to even the match at a set apiece. The match would be decided by a 10-point super tiebreaker. With solid, consistent play along with superior foot speed Charlie outlasted his opponent in the tiebreaker 10-7 for the win drawing loud cheers from the crowd!
