With four full-time music teachers and 17 adjunct music faculty members, Northfield Mount Hermon's music program is one of the most diverse and exciting prep school programs in the country.
Many students take private lessons each year. Their levels range from absolute beginner to advanced.
Each 45-minute lesson costs $42. Financial aid covering one-third of the cost is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Students are expected to practice four times a week for 45 minutes each between lessons.
Our full- and part-time teachers cover every standard orchestral and band instrument as well as piano, organ, guitar, and voice. If we don't have a teacher for your particular instrument, we'll make every effort to find one.
