NMH is fertile ground for every kind of creative expression.
The arts curriculum at NMH is expansive: dance, music, theater, and, in the visual arts department, painting, drawing, ceramics, digital design, photography, and video. We emphasize the creative process as much as the final product or production. We're all about deepening your understanding of inspiration and context. Helping you acquire critical-thinking skills. Translating concepts into myriad forms of expression.
Our Rhodes Arts Center is one of the finest arts facilities in secondary education. It offers stunning performance spaces as well as practice rooms, classrooms, and visual art studios. It’s simply an inspirational environment that keeps the creative juices flowing.
As we see it, the arts help make us fully realized human beings. We learn new ways to see and think about ourselves and others. But that takes time. Our College Model Academic Program allows you to dive into making art without sacrificing other areas of study or activity.
Come explore the RAC, as we call it, or check out a student performance (here's our arts calendar). You’ll see just how serious we are about art — and how much we celebrate it.
