LĂo Mehiel '11
Lío Mehiel ’11 is a Puerto Rican and Greek transmasculine artist, filmmaker, and actor. They began their career as a professional salsa dancer and child actor on Broadway and have gone on to receive acclaim across multiple creative disciplines. Lío’s breakout film role came in “MUTT,” for which they made history as the first trans actor to win the Special Jury Award for Best Acting at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival. Their multidisciplinary visual work has been featured in DAZED, Hypebae, Artnet, GayTimes, and more.
