Lindsey Dawson ’00

Lindsey Dawson ’00 is the associate director of HIV Policy and director of LGBTQ Health Policy at the Kaiser Family Foundation. She conducts research and analysis on HIV policy in the United States and focuses on LGBTQ health policy issues, particularly those related to disparities, access, and coverage. In this episode, we talk about Lindsey’s determination to attend NMH, how research became her calling, and how LGBTQ and HIV policies are affected by political polarization and changes in federal funding.
