Caitrin Rogers ’00

Caitrin Rogers '00 is an award-winning documentary film producer. She is best known for producing “⁠20 Feet from Stardom⁠,” which earned her an ⁠Academy Award⁠, an ⁠Independent Spirit Award⁠, and a ⁠Grammy Award⁠. She also produced the miniseries “Ugly Delicious” and “Shangri-La,” as well as the films “The Black Godfather,” “Miss Americana,” and, most recently, “Piece by Piece.” In our conversation, we talk about the confidence Cait gained at NMH to head west, her thoughts on what makes a good story, and what truth means in documentaries.
