Bisa Williams ‘72
Bisa Williams ’72 served as a U.S. Foreign Service officer for more than 30 years, building a distinguished diplomatic career rooted in service, peace-building, and advocacy for human rights. She was appointed ambassador to Niger by President Barack Obama in 2010 and previously led historic U.S. talks in Cuba, breaking a seven-year pause in formal dialogue. Now a senior fellow at Yale and managing director of her own global strategy firm, she continues to lead with clarity, compassion, and purpose.
