The Application Process
NMH has partnered with Clarity in our need-based scholarship application process. To begin, please create a Clarity Account.
Clarity's Family Application Guide offers step-by-step directions.
Families in the U.S.:
As part of the process, you will be asked to authorize the IRS to share your 2023 tax return directly to Clarity. Families who own businesses and international families will need to submit additional information, listed below. To do so, first complete and submit your Clarity Application, then return to the dashboard to upload this additional tax information required by NMH:
- 2023 W2s/1099s or end-of-year pay stub.
- 2022 and 2021 IRS 1040 tax returns, signed, with all tax schedules, statements, and W2s/1099s.
International families should submit:
- Notarized copy of your most recent income tax report.
- Earnings Statement from your employer.
- Three (3) consecutive months of your most recent bank statements.
- International Applicant Supplement.
Families who own businesses should submit:
2022 and 2021 business tax returns and balance sheets (if you own any part in a farm, sole proprietorship, partnership, S-Corporation) - IRS Schedule K-1, Form 1065, Form 1120, and/or Form 1120S.
Please note: Clarity charges a $60 application fee. Clarity will automatically grant fee waivers for those who qualify based on need. If you do not receive a waiver but feel you qualify, please contact our office at finaid@nmhschool.org or 413-498-3237.
