Virtual Summer Learning Program
For students entering grades 7–12
In our five- and three- week virtual programs, you’ll connect with peers from all over the world. You’ll receive approximately the same amount of class time as students in our on-campus programs, along with the flexibility of working from home. Our online teachers offer additional support outside of classes, with one-on-one meetings and open extra help sessions.
For all our virtual programs, exact class meeting times will be decided closer to the start of the program, and we will accommodate the varying time zones of enrolled students as best we can. Typically, classes have met between 8/8:30 am and 12/12:30 pm.
Five-week Programs: July 3 to Aug. 4, 2023
Virtual Math Academy: Our Virtual Math Academy courses are designed to cover a full year of curriculum in Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra II, or Precalculus over five weeks. Students should expect a fast-paced, intensive course and must demonstrate a pattern of high achievement, with a recommendation from their current math teacher. Classes meet Monday through Saturday for three to four hours daily, allowing you to meet the required hours for math credit.
See course descriptions in our curriculum guide.
(While some of these courses are for credit, NMH cannot guarantee credit or acceleration at another school. It is the student’s responsibility to obtain approval from their school prior to the course.)
English for Speakers of Other Languages Online (ESOL) Program: Improve your English skills in preparation for enrolling at an American high school or university. There are classes for all levels, from beginners to advanced speakers.
Three-week Programs: July 3-21, 2023; 8:30–11:30 am ET
