What’s important to me as a teacher is the big picture. I try to give my students the space to consider big ideas, to make mistakes, and to laugh with each other. I may not have the power or resources to make a dramatic change in the greater world, but as a teacher, I can help my students develop better life skills, and my hope is they will be driven to make the changes they see as necessary.
