I know physics is not an easy topic for everyone. Some students are even fearful of it. I tell them, Don’t be afraid of what you do not understand; seek to understand, and you will no longer be afraid. I think this philosophy can be applied to all aspects of life, and NMH does that in and out of the classroom. I challenge all of my students, no matter what level they’re at,  to be open to struggle. Struggling in a class doesn’t mean you’re not good at it. I know, because I struggled in my own NMH physics class. Now I love and teach it!
