U Penn Boarding School Teaching Residency

The University of Pennsylvania’s Boarding School Teaching Residency (BSTR) program is a groundbreaking collaboration between the Penn Graduate School of Education and a consortium of the nation’s leading boarding schools.

With an innovative and comprehensive curriculum designed specifically for the boarding schools’ unique setting, the program provides aspiring teachers an opportunity to receive a master’s degree in education in concert with the exceptional fellowship programs offered by participating schools.

We plan to hire three teaching fellows; probable academic areas are math and English, and a third teaching fellow in another discipline to be determined. We are especially interested in candidates who can coach at the varsity level or who bring relevant experience in diversity work.

If interested in applying, please send a cover letter, resume, personal statement, three letters of recommendation, and official transcript(s) from all undergraduate programs to: faculty_recruitment@nmhschool.org.
