Sacred Concert

Lift up your voice to usher in spring at this special concert.
Guests can join us VIRTUALLY for the 128th year of this NMH tradition.

The very first Concert of Sacred Music took place in May 1895, when the students of Northfield and Mount Hermon presented a concert of gospel hymns for school founder D.L. Moody. Now in its 128th year, Sacred Concert continues to be a cherished Northfield Mount Hermon tradition.

This year, Sacred Concert will again be presented in Memorial Chapel on Sunday, April 30, featuring NMH student singers and musicians along with a host of dedicated Alumni singers who will combine to offer a wonderful and meaningful musical program.

Attendance at Sacred Concert is a required all-school event for NMH students, so they may experience this important tradition together, as a campus community. Alumni singers will continue the tradition of singing in the Alumni Choir at Sacred Concert, yet due to space limitations in the chapel, only the NMH campus community may attend in person. We welcome and highly encourage all alumni, families, and friends to join us virtually on Sunday, April 30, at 2 pm via livestream on this page.
