Northfield Mount Hermon is pleased to announce the hiring of Michael Shelton as its new boys’ basketball coach.
"The hiring of Michael is a home run for NMH,” said Athletic Director Debby Ghezzi. “He is very invested in his student-athletes and has a strong record of supporting growth and improvement in the players and programs that he has been associated with."
Shelton spent the past three seasons as head coach of boys’ basketball at Governor's Academy, where he developed talent, led winning teams, and sent players on to Division I and III colleges and universities. His extensive resume also includes administrative and coaching positions at Indianapolis’ Park Tudor School; the Williston Northampton School, where he was named New England Preparatory School Athletic Council Coach of the Year; and Wesleyan University.
