Athletes of the Week 4/4-4/10

Congratulations to our NMH Athletes of the Week for the week of 4/4-4/10!

From Girls JV Lacrosse:

Celeste DiLeo '22

Celeste played her best game of the season against Westminster last wednesday. She had strong defensive play throughout the game, sliding to help her teammates on the drive. She topped it all off with a coast-to-coast run for her first goal of the season! Celeste has a great attitude and enjoys the game.

From Boys Varsity Ultimate:

Toby Hughes '22

Toby had more assists and steals than the rest of the team combined last week. He is a leader and inspires his teammates. In our game against Northampton he dominated his opponents by playing intuitive and energetic defense as well as offense.

Toby is in his fourth year of playing Ultimate. As co-captain he consistently gets at least five steals a game and three assists. Even when playing in a tournament in Rhode Island, with extremely talented alums on his team, he held his own by contributing equally both on offense and defense. He is humble and always willing to help the beginning players, by teaching them how to throw and offering them encouragement and technical expertise. Next year he will be greatly missed.
