Driving Directions

Northfield Mount Hermon is easily accessible from I-91 and Route 2.

From Eastern Massachusetts

Follow Route 2 west to Route 63, then go north on Route 63 for approximately eight miles to where Route 63 merges with Route 10, then turn left on Route 10 south. Drive 1.7 miles (you will cross over the Connecticut River) and the campus entrance will be on the left.

From I-91

Take Exit 28 in Massachusetts and follow Route 10 north for 2.8 miles; the campus entrance is on the right.

The admission office is in Norton House. Follow signs through the center of campus.

Human resources and the Office of Faculty Recruitment are in the town of Northfield in Green Pastures, a blue-gray Victorian house on the corner of Main and Moody Streets. To get to Northfield from eastern Massachusetts, remain on Route 63 for two more miles through the village of Northfield until you see Green Pastures on your right. From I-91, stay on Route 10 (1.7 miles) over the Connecticut River. At the "T" intersection, turn left on Routes 10 and 63. Go two miles through the village of Northfield; Green Pastures will be on your right. 

The main athletic offices are in Forslund Gym. 

The nearest international airport is Bradley International, serving Hartford, CT, and Springfield, MA; the airport is convenient to I-91. The drive from Bradley to NMH is approximately one hour. The drive from Boston's Logan airport to NMH is about two hours. 

NMH is 40 minutes from the five-college area of Amherst and Northampton, two hours from Boston, and three and one-half hours from New York City.
