Upward Bound Scholars

NMH Upward Bound scholars come from six target schools in western Massachusetts: Springfield High School of Science and Technology, Renaissance School Springfield Central High School, Holyoke High School, Greenfield High School, and Turners High School. Students enroll in the most challenging college preparatory curriculum offered at their schools and prepare for those classes each summer in the Summer Academy. All scholars complete a minimum of 52 hours of community service each year, attend advising and after-school meetings each week, and participate in special events and trips throughout the year.
