Scholars

NMH Upward Bound scholars attend five schools in western Massachusetts: Springfield High School of Science and Technology, Springfield Renaissance School,  Holyoke High School, Greenfield High School, and Turners High School. Upward Bound students enroll in the most challenging college preparatory curriculum offered at their schools and prepare for those classes each summer in our Summer Academy on the NMH campus. All scholars must complete a minimum of 52 hours of community service each year, attend advising, tutoring and after-school meetings each week, and participate in special events and trips throughout the year.
