your product
Northfield Mount Hermon School values the strong relationships it builds with suppliers of high quality services and products. The department of information technology is always on the lookout for new products, services, and providers that provide capabilities to help us achieve our mission of providing world-class technology and support in a world-class educational environment.
Selecting suppliers
The department relies on a core group of suppliers for its
operational purchases. This list changes from time to time based
on product selection, service, and pricing offered by vendors.
<back to top>
Capital purchases are usually awarded based through a competitive proposal process. The department's evaluation of submitted bids takes into account all factors affecting value. This means that while competitive pricing is a critical feature of any accepted bid, the lowest bid may not necessarily be selected for purchase. <back to top>
Terms
NMH requires 30 day net payment terms with its suppliers.
Purchase orders are required for all purchases. NMH is a
registered non-profit organization that is exempt from sales
taxes. Supporting documentation is available. For more
information about purchasing policies, please contact the
accounting office.

Capital planning
The school's fiscal year runs July 1 through June 30. Capital
projects are planned one year in advance and funding is
typically determined in February preceding the start of the new
fiscal year. <back to top>
