NMH Phonathons

March 2009 student calling program is a success!
During spring break, 29 students spent their afternoons and evenings calling alumni on behalf of the NMH Annual Fund. In honor of the school’s 130th Anniversary Campaign, the students set a goal of raising $130,000 over the two-week calling period. By the beginning of the second week of calling they surpassed their goal, so they set a new goal to achieve $150,000. They finished with a bang—ending with a final total of $168,351 raised in gifts and pledges!

Not only were the students pleased with their accomplishments in building support for their school, they were truly excited to have good conversations with alumni.  As impressive ambassadors of the school, the student callers expertly answered questions, heard interesting stories from alumni of all ages, and enthusiastically shared insights about student and campus life today. They also learned firsthand how valuable the Annual Fund is for NMH.

Alumni phonathons
Phonathons serve a vital role in reaching the NMH Annual Fund goals. They raise dollars to provide students with financial aid, help hire and retain exceptional faculty, and meet other critical financial needs of the school. In other words, participating in phonathons helps to make NMH the best educational institution possible. On top of that, it's also a way for alumni, parents, and parents of alumni to connect with each other.

Participating in a phonathon is easy and fun. Plus, the food is great and you'll leave with some special NMH rewards! If you would like to help "ring up" support for NMH, please contact Sue Clough at 413-498-3084 or nmhgiving@nmhschool.org.

We would like to expand our phonathon locations and give more people the opportunity to participate.
