message From the annual fund cochairs

Dear NMH Community Members,

During recent visits to campus, we were reminded again of the reason for our volunteer work as cochairs of the NMH Annual Fund. The students’ intelligence, commitment to community, and respect for each other is wonderful to witness. Northfield Mount Hermon pulsates with excitement, focus, and energy! 

The NMH Annual Fund is critical to the school accounting for approximately 9 percent of the overall operating budget. The 2007-08 Annual Fund goal is $3.5 million and is a top fundraising priority.

Everyone on campus directly and immediately benefits from the NMH Annual Fund. To achieve this year’s ambitious goal, we need to increase the number of donors. Remember, every gift, no matter the size, has real power. Even a small increase in participation or the size of an average gift can have a big impact.

As an invaluable source of “unrestricted” funds, the Annual Fund provides the resources necessary to fund NMH’s highest priorities: financial aid, academic programs, faculty support, visual and performing arts, athletics, library resources, and campus facilities. When you make your gift, you will have the opportunity to tell us which of these school priorities matches your own.
