Boys 2009 Season Summary
The boys track and field team started the year with an inexperienced but talented team. The team's dedication to work hard coupled with our skilled coaching staff made it possible for almost every athlete to attain a personal best this season. We ended the season with a impressive 10-3 record with loses to only two teams. The team went into New Englands ranked 8 out of 14 teams but we set the goal to finish in the top five. Due to some impressive performances and amazing personal best times/distances, we were able to take 5th place to end the season with pride. Here are some of the NE highlights:

Boys 2008 Season Summary
Congratulations to the boys track and field team for finishing with an impressive 11-1 record in 2008. We went into New Englands this year knowing that we would struggle with points due to losing our top two scoring athletes but the team really stepped it up and we had some amazing performances.
Placing:
High Jump: Joshua Riddle - 2nd place
300IH: James Montague - 3rd place
Javelin: Simon McCormack - 3rd place
1500m: Timothy Liponis - 4th place
Discus: Albert Maldonado - 5th place
Long Jump: Jason Green - 6th place
Pole Vault: Emil Mehta - 6th place
The teams this year were stronger than I have seen in a few years and we enjoyed seeing some amazing performances from our fellow schools. NMH ended up finishing 8th out of 12 schools but as you can tell from above the team really pulled together to end as strong as we could. We are already looking forward to a rematch next year!
At the end of the year we also honor those athletes that put in extra effort:
Red Baton Award: Spencer Russell
Coaches Award: Timothy Liponis
