Adventure Education and Leadership
Adventure education refines and enhances
the knowledge and techniques
learned in Introduction to the Outdoors and Winter in the Outdoors.
Trip planning and safety, group dynamics and facilitation skills,
leadership philosophy, and advanced back-country skills are fully
explored. Students interested in leadership positions such as
student leader, peer educator, peer mediator, and international
ambassador are encouraged to take this class.
