Visited with Joe Sharkey '11 Brown University this morning. Joe has made great progress over the past 2 weeks. He recognized me the second I walked in. Gave a strong and long handshake. He has been expressing himself through handshakes lately. Joe and I had good moments sharing a few brief verbal exchanges.

Congrats to all graduating seniors at Senior Prize Assembly today. Captain Ben Csiernik won the Etta May Schweiss Prize for high achievement in French as well as the Head of School's Award ( one of 5 seniors). Captain Ryan Gouviea won the Ralph E. Jillson Award for excellence and leadership in athletics and team manager Victor Lin won the Harriet Cutler Heiser Memorial Award which is awarded to an international student who makes a deep and lasting impact. Way to go boys!!

Congrats to Peter Miller '13 Princeton University for winning the Richard Valentine Award, which is the highest athletic honor given to an NMH student-athlete. The Valentine recognizes athletic contribution, accomplishment, sportsmanship and leadership. Peter was co-captain of the National Championship basketball team and an important member of the track team. Well deserved! Congrats, Peter!

Boys varsity heat 2 and 3 results. We knew we were faster than our 17 seed, and raced well today, but not quite fast enough to advance. Seven guys coming back from this young crew next year!

Congratulations to midfielder Raheem Jackson '13 for receiving the prize for excellence in elective science courses and the prestigious head of school award, and to manager CJ Fennell '13 for receiving the Albert Clough award in writing and the Michael Antonio memorial award for contributions to school life! Well done boys, we are very proud of your successes away from the lacrosse field!
