NMH Dancers Make Bold Moves

MOUNT HERMON, MA—Jazz by the late pianist Oscar Peterson provides the jumping off point for Bold Moves, a dance program at Northfield Mount Hermon School February 21 to 23 at 7:30 in Grandin Auditorium.

Dancers will perform jazz, tap, modern, ballet, and comic pieces set to rhythm and music. Chair acrobatics play a part in the dance “Sleepwalking.” The Snpadragon Dance Group presents “El Touchy” with dancers in disguise.

Choreographers include Gretel Schatz, director of the dance program; dance teacher Amanda Chapin; seniors Althea SullyCole, Annamae Manning, and Katie Evans; sophomores Priscilla Hume and Faith Weis; and freshman Kate Kim. NMH also welcomes guest artists Allison Boyd, a graduate of the class of 2003, and Boston-based choreographer Audra Carabetta.

Call 498-3017 to reserve tickets, which cost $5 for the general public and $2 for students and seniors. For directions to NMH, call 413-498-3000 or visit www.nmhschool.org.
