NMH Outreach Concert to Raise Money for Meals on Wheels

GILL, MA—The Northfield Mount Hermon Music Department presents the fourth annual Franklin County Outreach Concert to benefit the Greenfield Meals on Wheels February 25 at 3:30 pm at Memorial Chapel. The concert features the NMH Concert Band, Symphony Orchestra, and Jazz Ensemble. Donations are strongly encouraged.

The Concert Band will perform Bugler's Holiday by Leroy Anderson and the “Finale” from the New World Symphony by Antonin Dvorak. The Symphony Orchestra will perform Die Meistersinger by Richard Wagner, with Susan Maday Travis conducting; the Concertino for Flute and Orchestra by Cecile Chaminade, with flute solo by Eleanor Shea; and the Violin Concerto in E-Minor, op. 64 by Felix Mendelssohn with Nai-Wen Yvonne Chang on solo violin. The Jazz Ensemble will be performing On the Sunny Side of the Street, When Sunny Gets Blue, Salt Peanuts, and The Preacher.
