State of the World Speaker Addresses Community Development
GILL, Mass.–Gopal Nakarmi, a native of Nepal, is the next State of the World speaker at NMH. He will speak on Thursday, December 8 at 6:45 - 7:55 pm in Beveridge Hall on the NMH campus.
The event is free and open to the public.
Nakarmi will speak about community development in Nepal. He has been working for many years with an organization called World Neighbors on issues such as clean water, sustainable agriculture, environmental protection, family planning, and reproductive health.
The NMH State of the World series was founded in the wake of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack to foster dialogue between the school and local communities about world events.
