NMH presents Annual Student Concerto Audition Recital

NORTHFIELD, Mass—Several of the best musicians at the Northfield Mount Hermon School will be featured on Sunday, November 14th, in the annual student concerto audition recital. The winner of this audition will perform in the spring student concerto recital, accompanied by a full orchestra.

Composers represented in this recital include Mendelssohn, Elgar, and Haydn, with the music performed by strings, marimba, piano, and voice. Eight movements from famous concertos will be heard.

The recital is free and open to the public. It will take place in the Philips Music Hall on the school’s Northfield campus, and begin at 3:00 pm. For more information, call 413-498-3281.
