Fisk Receives NMH Lamplighter Award
NORTHFIELD, Mass.— Lloyd A. Fisk of Ocala, FL was presented with
the Northfield Mount Hermon School’s Lamplighter Award at the
school’s recent Alumni Weekend. The award is the highest honor
the NMH Alumni Association bestows for services to the school,
and goes to the alumnus whose work on behalf of the school
shines before the entire NMH community and makes a difference
for current and future students.
After graduating from NMH in 1955, Fisk attended law school and
began work as an international lawyer, eventually being
assigned to Hong Kong. His dedication to NMH sallied forth at
the time of his 40th reunion when he chose to fly halfway around
the world to attend the festivities in Massachusetts. His
service to NMH includes president of the Alumni Association,
class calling program, trustee, class gift chair, and
participation in major capital campaigns.
Since retiring, Lloyd has made two mission trips to Haiti. He
regularly travels from Florida to Massachusetts to participate
in NMH events.
