‘How the World Sings’ 

NORTHFIELD , Mass. —“How the World Sings” will be presented by the Northfield Mount Hermon School choral program at 3 pm , Sunday, February 22, in Memorial Chapel, Mount Hermon campus. The winter choral concert, celebrating the 2004 Olympics with music from around the world, is free and open to the public. All are welcome.
“The Olympic Hymn” by Leonard Bernstein opens the program. Music from Argentina , Mongolia , Italy , Israel , Korea and the U.S. will be performed by the Select Women’s Ensemble, the Concert Choir, and the NMH Singers. Featured guests are Saya Namikawa ’04, performing on the school’s new marimba, and Meg Friedrich, flute.
