NMH Dance Program presents Spring Concert

NORTHFIELD , Mass. —The NMH Dance Program will present a dance concert entitled Ricochet this weekend in Silverthorne Theatre in Stone Hall on the Northfield campus.

Led by dance program director Gretel Schatz and dance teacher Laurel Salvi, the program will show off both senior and junior dance companies, and will feature work by seven student choreographers. Snapdragon, Schatz’s year-long repertory group, will also perform a piece celebrating the "mullet" hairstyle. Both Salvi and Schatz will contribute other new pieces to the program as well.

The concert may be seen Friday, May 14th, at 7:30 pm ; Saturday, May 15th, at 7:30 pm ; and Sunday, May 16th, at 2 pm .Tickets are $2 for NMH students and $5 for the public. Though tickets may be purchased at the door, NMH dance performances usually sell out, so tickets may be reserved by calling the dance program at 413-498-3017.
