NMH Gallery Features Kazokas’ Photographic Work

NORTHFIELD, Mass. “Gift of Light,” an exhibit of black and white photographic work by Kerry Kazokas, will be on display at Nada/Mason Gallery, Bolger Arts Center, Northfield Mount Hermon School Oct. 23 to Nov. 20, 2003. An opening reception with the artist will be held 6 to 8 pm, Friday, Nov. 7, 2003, at the gallery on the Northfield campus.

This show represents “brand new work,” says the artist, “largely autobiographical, with photographs projected and printed on paintings and sculptures. The subject matter is the figure in the landscape with a light and shadow relationship.” Kazokas is general manager at Green Trees Gallery and former owner of Freedom Art Gallery in Northfield. She studied at Massachusetts College of Art and the University of New Mexico. 

Hours at NADA/Mason Gallery are noon to 6 pm, Tuesday through Sunday. To reach the gallery, enter the Northfield campus at the main entrance from rte. 63 and bear left at the fork. Bolger Arts Center is the stone building on the hill on the right.
