‘Importance of Being Earnest'

NORTHFIELD , Mass. —Students at Northfield Mount Hermon School take to the stage in Oscar Wilde’s comedy of manners, The Importance of Being Earnest, directed by David V. Rowland, at 7 pm ,Thursday, Dec. 11, and 7:30 pm , Friday and Saturday, Dec. 12 and 13 in Silverthorne Theatre, Stone Hall. 

Wilde’s play has endured as one of the most popular works from Victorian England for its brilliant wit, social satire, and use of puns. Tickets are $2 for NMH students, faculty and staff, $5 for all others. For tickets or more information, contact the theatre program director at david_rowland@nmhschool.org. 

Stone Hall is on the Northfield campus and may be reached by driving into the main Northfield entrance from Main St. and bearing left at the fork
