NORTHFIELD, Massachusetts—Northfield Mount Hermon School is pleased to announce this year’s commencement speaker, Carol J. Ramsey, NMH class of 1970. The school’s 121th Commencement will take place on Sunday, June 6 at 11 am on the Mount Hermon campus in Gill.

After graduating from NMH, Ramsey earned a degree in botany at Connecticut College, and she has spent her career in education and philanthropy. She held positions at Bowdoin and Vassar and was head of the Wilmington Friends School from 1990-94. She now serves as director of corporate contributions with the Raytheon Company of Waltham, Mass. She has held trusteeships at Connecticut College, Thacher School, Buckley School, Grand Opera House, and North Carolina Outward Bound.
