NMH Students Stage New Alice in Wonderland
NORTHFIELD, Mass.—The stage at Northfield Mount Hermon School’s Silverthorne
Theatre is set for Alice in Wonderland, at 8 pm, Thursday through Saturday,
January 22 to 24, and 2 pm, Sunday, January 25. Silverthorne Theatre is in Stone
Hall on the Northfield campus. Tickets are $2 for NMH and $5 for non-NMH.
Charles Raffetto, technical director and designer, warns, “This version of Alice
in Wonderland is not intended for children. While suitable for high school
students and older, younger children will not recognize the characters that they
are familiar with, and there is a bit of material that is not suitable for
them.” In addition, Raffetto has incorporated a student band and anticipates the
show to be loud.
